I tried a few different iPad based POS systems when opening my Cafe, but settled on Loyverse as their features actually beat a lot of the paid systems out there, and it's free! Would definitely recommend trying out Loyverse first before settling on another system. Just because it's free doesn't mean it's not a serious contender.

Local payment terminal integration is lacking and cash up process could be built upon. However it more than makes up for this with the price tag (or lack thereof) and its array of features.

The software is very easy to use and a quick training session with staff will enable them to effectively use the software, everything in the user interface is self explanatory.

Most of the startup is Free which is a plus. Free trial for add ons 14days. Fast setup as you can use your own hardware -- but the down side are the following see cons.

Unsure if you have searched the company information. They don't have a physical location nor will give this info. Search Who IS - and it's in Panama. Would you like jeopardizing your customer information? Look what happen to facebook and cambridge analytics.

Not worth the risk if you don't have a visible office and understand how they are using the data.

THere is a privacy page but it means nothing if you can't see if the company is real and registered somewhere for recourse.

The best feature for my coffee shop is that we can use this software at no cost. We can use the software on either android or iOS devices and it connects easily to wired or Bluetooth printers.

several of the buttons cannot have their descriptions changed which is confusing for some of the workers.

I love the ease of use of the POS system. Inputting the data for the items and using the tablet to cash out my customers has made the in-store process much more convenient. I also really like the paperless receipts as this matches one of the company's core principles which is sustainable living.

I haven't yet experienced anything that has been difficult in using the Loyverse POS.

About registering its in dollars and its automatic thé registration base on number employees u entered.. i paid already for 2 employees but i intent to register only 1 but the payment was made already after i deleted 1 employee.. hope it will credited on my nxt registration

A comprehensive POS solution with good reporting features all provided free to use with the option to upgrade to enhanced features. Provides an easy and affordable start point for any new business and enables us to purchase upgrades as the business grows.

Some of the reporting features are limited but the ability to export reports and then slice and dice data in Excel thereafter means that this is not an issue.

Loyverse was the best option to use in my mobile catering trailer so i could use a pos software on a till that worked with Zettle card readers, can use it online or offline and is very easy to set up, jst needs a few more things and it would be the best by far software needs for mobile caterers.

The setup is extremely easy and has great features for use. The system is very user friendly and easy to teach our user.It works GREAT for our Mobile setup, with ability to retrieve reports.

This is not a complaint.But, we've had a few times the sales printed on the receipt, but did not register in the reports.Based on our use, this has not been a huge problem, because we always keep a separate receipt for our records.

The product is extremely easy to set up and use; no learning curve for an employee to start using the product.

It's unfortunate that the POS only seems to run on a tablet. While the "backoffice" can run under Windows, it would be nice if they could get the POS part running as many of the new Windows laptops are touchscreen.

I love the fact that the software is easy to use, fully packed with most features we require for our restaurant. From CRM, Loyalty, Inventory Management, KDS, Customer facing interface. They also offer some great integrations with third party software like Xero, WooCommerce etc. Would always recommend them.

Mostly focused on the internal operations and not much on the customer side of things like the Kiosk or self ordering system. That would be a really good addition to it.

The software is easy to use and has never let me down. Has all the features you need in A POS system at a fraction of the price

SAGE integration would be nice to see. It would complete the service in my eyes

- simple and easy to use - convenient & efficient especially to our staff vs our old manual process wherein we still have to write no. of loads for wash & dry, detergent & fabcon ordered and corresponding prices in the job order- monitors our receivables thru open ticket compared vs old manual process we still have to stamp paid for job order copy thus prone to human error & more reconciliation if not stamp paid resulting to customer complaints- as the owner, i can easily view and download detailed sales reports, which is very helpful to me in analyzing the financials, trend, manpower scheduling & of profitability- customers love the professional look of the receipt vs our old manually written job orders

- open tickets can be deleted without a trail. This is one control I haven't resolved yet. I'm not always present in the shop. Employee can just delete the open ticket if he/she plans not to remit the payment.

This is such an easy to use, easy to teach software that is clean integrable and portable. It has made business run more efficient and smoothly.

A more customisable loyalty reward system but that does not take away from a great product.

Is practice to use for anybody in my small business

It does not have an option to report expenses from the box, on a day-to-day basis. That is, it would be good to have it in the summary of how much money came out of the daily box

Since it is a work in progress, some features have not been implemented yet, but they are working on them.

It made my life easier as a one man show. I can always look back how am i doing on everyday sales without a single hassle

Very expensive to use the optional features in another country...while a busy big business would absorb this without blinking paying in US dollars makes it unobtainable to smaller venues especially here in Thailand...this need to be looked at and reduced to correspond to the country its being used...our sales are not sold in US dollars so behind the 8 ball before its played

Its soooooo easy to use and also secure, I would say its fool proof! Also the loyalty program is a wonderful idea, love the way it links with the QR code and allows us to send regular updates to our customers, and the fact that we can easily convert an excel file to a CSV file to import the data to the application....also the cost was definitely within our budget!

There's a few features we would like to see as are really quite necessary for retail, such as size and colour in a sub category, currently unavailable, but have been told its on its way :) Also we need to be able to offer a printed receipt, some people just prefer that to an email, but again we've been advised its possible! Under card payment options we would like to include the type of card used and the currency...Kuwait dinar has 3decimal places.

I wish I could create invoices on the system without having to link to another system to be able to create invoices.

Easy to learn. All you need to start with a POS system.

Need to integrate other payment systems than sumUp in Switzerland for payment. TWINT for example.Custom display: Layout colour should be changeble. Not only green and bigger numbers.

It's very user friendly. We had no trouble setting it up. I love all the options per product we can use. I like the sales reports and how easy was to set up a printer for it.

Not being able to retrieve lost data. I lost a tablet and wasn't able to get back the data

One of the best things about Loyverse is being able to track sales and expenses very easily. By being able to set up different categories, it assists in identifying areas of your business that are cash cows and areas that are draining your business.

It can be tricky to link your loyverse POS to an accounting system and accurately indicate all expenses and incomes. It does not allow one to create a client invoice with detailed company information.
