We have been using this tool for the last 1 year, we bought it to reduce vulnerabilities in all machines, and it helped to get it done in a few months, automated patch deployment also helped us to automate the patch process.

Third-party apps patching can be improved by adding more apps like Corel

Have got PMP seeing all systems and it shows missing patches. it seems logical enough but having a couple of issues with the config to push out patches. however I haven't yet contacted support in any way which is my next step.

Patch Manager Plus is a mature and stable platform for patching. Their 3rd party patching catalog is extensive and as a whole, the product just works. Definitely dive into comparing them with *any* other stand-alone patching tool and their price/performance easily wins out. Coupled with their rapid support, nothing else fit our need as well.

There are some convoluted settings and schedules that could use clarification as well as an entire UI/UX refresh. There's nothing "bad" about it, but it does get in the way of the product's great core functionality.

It makes it much easier to centralize the evaluation of patches to be applied.

I haven't been able to find any negative points in using the tool so far.

Being able to patch third party apps along with Win/MacOS/Linux update is huge and helps us remain more compliant. The interface is easy and there is a sufficient amount of documentation/support from ME to get through most issues.

We have a lot of ManageEngine products within our company, and we do run into "clunky" behavior with the apps, or we have to take extra steps in processes that could be mitigated through better coding on ME's part.

Price is significantly cheaper than SCCM. Web UI is much simpler to use.

Issues with patches failing to deploy to some systems.... no different from WSUS or SCCM in this regard, it's par for the course.

i do not have any dislike about this product. IT does exactly what i purchased it to do

I really like the patch management system overall. Its has helped us patch machines for all non-microsoft products, as well as replaced our windows update service as well!

The only real negative is that if you do too much at once, the patching really slows down. But its not a big deal - you can work around it.

As we have several company station around the indian ocean, i can be difficult to manage all our equipments with a WSUS server in terms of patching. With Manage Engine, i have all of them in one console and the ease of patching become so Simple and to start up to date. Also with the patching of 3rd Parties software and the total number of 300 K plus of patches already in his inventory.

In fact i would like to say that until now, i have not saw anything wrong with the apps

This is a mature patch management system with the ability to granularly configure the deployment of patches. One of the features in the solution is the ability to work from the Microsoft Patch Tuesday schedule. This allows us to schedule deployment of those patches to a pilot group, then to the rest of the enterprise at a later date. Similar to Microsoft Rings deployment strategy.

I don't see a way to deploy a custom patch for an unsupported application. It can be reuquested to be added to the catalogue.

Dashboard was great! The reporting really helps with knowing what is happening without digging and digging.

Deployment as with any could be a challange.

ManageEngine was easy to set up and deploy. There were many options on how to deploy to an endpoint.

ManageEngine's reporting could be better.

Patch Manager Plus Cloud is a one-stop-shop for all our Windows and 3rd Party patch management needs. The ability to both automate and manually apply required updates around our schedule is what makes this solution great.

Although the granularity of the UI is useful, it can become a bit tedious to jump around from page to page to adjust settings/configs.

Deployment was very quick and simple and instantly gain visibility to the devices and their status
