We switched over to AssetSonar from EZOfficeInventory; same team, same great support staff, much better product for managing IT assets. We've been able to tag and track around 500 IT assets - laptops, printers, networking equipment - and keep an eye on warranties, maintenance schedules, and procurement details. This is all spread out over 200 people, and it never feels like work.
It's improved our visibility into our equipment, the reports are in-depth, and we've cut down at least an hour a day on managing our IT operations.
Vantagens
The AssetSonar agent makes it really easy to put IT asset details into the system. We're able to manage IT asset lifecycles across our three main locations. Makes it so easy to be organized and on top of things.
Desvantagens
Not much. Only had one bug so far but it was resolved the same day, so I can't complain.

Vantagens
The ease that [sensitive content hidden], and so many others are available to assist with our inquiry needs.
Desvantagens
There were many bugs with the program, but Asset Sonar corrected those issues within a timely fashion.

Our experience with AssetSonar has been excellent. The software integrates seamlessly with JAMF Pro and Zendesk, enabling smooth workflows across our IT and support systems. The ability to create custom asset tags has enhanced our asset tracking, allowing us to tailor the tool to our organization’s needs. Additionally, AssetSonar has been invaluable in providing HR with visibility into the status of MacBooks for both new hires and offboarded staff, streamlining our onboarding and offboarding processes
Vantagens
What I appreciate most about AssetSonar is its seamless integration with JAMF Pro, which allows us to manage our Apple assets more effectively. Additionally, the ability to create custom asset tags within the software is invaluable for our organization, enabling us to tailor asset tracking to our specific needs and improve our overall asset management process.
Desvantagens
After using AssetSonar for a year, I have not encountered any significant downsides. The product has consistently met our needs, especially with its integration capabilities and customization options. Its reliability has been a strong asset for our team, providing consistent value in asset management.

For tracking assets, being able to identify who as what, the tool is perfect!

The mobile app needs more work. It feels a little clunky, but that’s not a major negative compared to what it can do!

The team at AssetSonar have been fantastic. Their engagement model is very results-oriented - they want to make sure you can implement effectively and benefit from the functionality. We have reached out for advice on several occasions and this has quickly led to a video conference and solutions. Our feature ideas/requests have been received positively, but are often already being considered by the AssetSonar development team ... it's helpful knowing that they are also focussed on making improvements and responding to market trends.
Vantagens
This is a heavily featured tool. Setting it up takes time but is worth the effort. For government, it is ticking so many compliance boxes and gives great visibility to operational management. The ability to use software agents to gather info on PC devices is great automation. Emailing staff for self-service custodianship verification is extremely useful - it turns traditional stock-take on its head by decentralising the effort.
Desvantagens
The product is not a magic wand ... unfortunately! It takes ongoing administration to keep the tool up to date with the many IT asset lifecycles being managed. But that's also why the tool is so valuable - it brings clarity to complex IT operations.

Amazing features, timely updates , easy access to the reports and what not!! This is the best product in market i have come across till now.
Would suggest this to all the farms looking for asset tracking and management.
Desvantagens
This product is one of the best in market, though to recall any cons.
In-fact couldn't find any, go to product for sure.
