Usado diariamente para acesso a VPN que configuramos no escritorio, permite o acesso remoto como se tivessemos dentro do escritorio, excelentes velocidades e a App é bastante intuitiva.

Good performance and ease to use before a few months

Not so easy for install. There is a lot of documents about this but still a barrier to enter.

OpenVPN is useful when traveling and needing to connect to unsecured wifi networks.

Some countries detect the usage of OpenVPN and block it.

One thing most paid VPN programs do not offer is complete customization. From how your server operates to how the client on your device works, OpenVPN offers quite a lot of features for a free program.

For the average user, OpenVPN is not recommended because you need to set up your own server. It is not a 'plug-and-play' VPN solution. You also need to pay some amount to simultaneously use the VPN service on several devices. This is an extra cost considering you still need to pay for server hosting as well.

The software easily setups on known hardware that have OpenVPN protocol listed.

I've used this to gain access to restricted work servers for email and storage. It works about 80% of the time to allow me to access the email and files stored there. Once installed, it's pretty easy to connect on a laptop and it's automatic on a phone (most of the time).

It's a little hit-or-miss, as previously stated. Every now and then, I need to manually connect my mobile device to the VPN, even though it should be automatic. It doesn't always play nicely with hotel networks so when I travel for work, I'm not always able to use the hotel wireless to check emails or access files.

This was provided to me free with my ISP. I was allowed to securely connect to the internet through this VPN software after a simple configuration process. Fast, painless, and was up within minutes. I was able to use this software on my pc's and my smart devices.

I did not have any issues with this particular piece of software. The most difficult part was figuring out how to load the configuration on to my smart devices correctly.

The cost factor is definitely key factor as it does provide free access. Another great feature is, should the service disconnect for any reason, access is paused until connection is restored

OpenVPN is completely free, has a good support community online (has a big user base which helps tremendously for any opensource software) and is easy to implement for both Windows and Linux environment.

Has speed limitations (due to protocol being used) so it cannot be used for high bandwidth scenarios. Key distribution is a problem too like with many other solutions out there.

Open source, using state-of-the-art security protocols to connect to a remote network. Regular updates to stay up to date with the latest version of the different security blocks.

Not always easy to troubleshoot connection problems because error messages sometimes don't give a clue of what configuration setting is wrong.

1-Community edition setup is really difficult and only a professional can install it.

Based off the open sourced free version it tends to have updates for security problems fixed very quickly when they occur. Once configured it works smoothly. The LDAP integration for the business version is pretty slick

Configuration can be tricky depending on your certificate setups and your installation (specifically on windows, had some files in the wrong directory and in the wrong format initially). Updates are frequent which is good but aren't clandestine as I would expect them to be.

Sometimes needed to reconnect the VPN because of not getting connected through the channel.
Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get connected.

This Virtual Private Network allows me to access the website those work inappropriately OpenVPN Access Server is the best VPN software that resolves my issues which occurs while browsing. I will get updates off n on to secure connections.

I need customer support through email or chat but i am unable to contact with them, because i want to tell them about some issues.
But i have no disadvantages about this software.
