Pandora FMS does its job as a loyal security personnel keeping us updated about any suspicious activity and helping us overcome it. It uses different serves for network monitoring and remote monitoring for ease and brevity.

Sometimes there is a lag which could be overcome by using additional servers otherwise it's a brilliant package.

The business processes and Tech development team are quite agile to our requirements. Though, there are few slip ups often observed while performing integration of softwares and servers across multi cloud environments.
We have also requested for bringing in the customized version of the same at lower cost and price to have its maximum acceptability across all vendors and partners easily without any second thought.

Interface web is really good, not requiered too many knowledge to get report and graphs

I think that way to get and add agents its little difficult in comparison with other toosl (prtg)

The ability to apply the same modules across multiple agents is extremely helpful. I like the flexibility of using these policies with various methods. I also like the ability to search for items within the platform as you build up the number of agents, it can be easy to get lost in the number of devices you are monitoring.

For me, where menu items are located don't always make sense. I have to sometimes search for where something is especially if I don't use that feature a lot.

I like about Pandora FMS that infrastructure monitoring can be implemented in a simple way, it already has several integrated templates, so you just have to choose what you want to monitor the device and that's it, the configuration has already been applied.

I would like you to improve the part where a template or configuration has already been applied, now modify it, in some cases you have to understand what the script is doing.

Linux base application are more difficult to set up. Installation is never fluid like for Windows applications.

Only supporting RedHat and CentOS, all our Linux product are based on Ubuntu.

Why not supporting Ubuntu? This is game changer for our company, we are thinking about using another application if Ubuntu is no longer supported.

If you're unfamiliar with Linux, the installation procedure might be a real headache.

Both its use, implementation and customization are very simple. And it doesn't need very robust hardware to run, which makes it cheaper to implement.

GUI based application to replace legacy solutions, in order to be more productive.

We tried to setup and test without help, this appears to be a hard road to go.
Guidelines and examples to this stage would be very welcome.
This is the major reason we are still not using FMS in poduction.

Pandora FMS is a flexible and highly scalable monitoring system ready for big environments. It doesn't matter what network you are using.

The software tends to overwork the system and overload the core. In doing so it slows the network and operating systems of the computers being monitored.

I really enjoy being able to monitor security with the application as well as server reportings. It's very interesting watching how it all comes together.

It's difficult to teach new people how to use and overlook the platform.
