Atualmente não vejo nada de ruim ou que eu não goste no slack

Entre as coisas que mais gosto no Slack estão: o software possui inúmeras funcionalidades que tornam a comunicação mais interativa e dinâmica, como por exemplo a possibilidade de responder à mensagens enviadas em uma aba apenas para respostas daquela mensagem, evitando a poluição da conversa principal com muitas respostas. Além disso, a funcionalidade de filtros para procura de mensagens ou contatos é muito eficiente e prática.

O que menos gostei no software é que para usar as funcionalidades de vídeo e áudio o usuário deve pagar após a versão de teste, acho que se essas funcionalidades fossem gratuitas a plataforma seria ainda mais completa.

O Slack é uma ferramenta muito fácil de usar e possibilita a aproximação da equipe mesmo em trabalho remoto. Dentre as melhores funcionalidades temos as videoconferências e os circles que funcionam como ligações. Essas funções dão celeridade a resolução dos problemas. O Slack pode ser integrado com vários outros apps.

O ponto negativo da ferramenta é a dificuldade na integração de alguns apps.

Muito pratico, permite a comunicação ágil e, quando possível, mais informal entre os colegas de trabalho. A funcionalidade de marcar pessoas e grupos é muito prática e inteligente.

As vezes sinto que falta um histórico de interação, pra que eu consiga encontrar mais facilmente minhas interações.

Durante o período de utilização não encontrei pontos negativos que pudessem ser citados.

Gostei do programa devido a como são tratadas as mensagens com formatação e os grupos.

É essencial, ao meu ver, possuir uma ferramenta de comunicação exclusiva para trabalho, não misturando com aspectos pessoais e outros aplicativos de uso cotidiano. Ao finalizar seu trabalho, basta encerrar o login. A separação de temas também é algo que vejo como diferencial.

O plano gratuito tem várias limitações, o que acaba prejudicando no caso de pequenas empresas que começam a fazer uso da ferramenta. Por exemplo, temos pouco tempo antes que as conversas sejam apagadas.

Algumas coisas como a possibilidade de encaminhar e-mails do gmail para a conversa, poder mandar gifs e figurinhas, poder fazer chamadas de áudio e de vídeo.

Ainda não encontrei algo de que não tenha gostado muito. Só tem a nova funcionalidade chamada círculos que até o momento não entendi bem a funcionalidade pois parece ter as mesmas funções de fazer uma chamada pela mesma plataforma. Me parece mais do mesmo.

O Slack é um aplicativo que ajuda a comunicação interna da empresa, sendo um centralizador de comunicação. Ele auxilia na busca por arquivos, até mesmo os mais antigos, e isso é muito importante para os dias atuais.

Integração com outros programas, para ser mais completo a experiência na gestão de projetos, por exemplo, seria um diferencial.

A facilidade de uso é um grande ponto deste software, extremamente versátil e intuitiva.

A experiência mobile deixa a desejar, porém, nada que atrapalhe o uso.

A parte de videoconferência, pois quase não utilizo.

The options of private/direct group conversations and public and private channels make the various types of cross-team communication most companies need so simple that it's hard to remember how we got anywhere when relying on email.

As a personal favourite feature, the option to upload custom emojis makes messaging easier, not just for fun but in the cases where logos/symbols can be easily understood by everyone, it makes quick shorthand.

Someone who reccomended this product did warn to be careful that it may take over our lives, and they weren't wrong! Through no fault of Slack , the ease of adding channels, setting up groups etc does admittedly add to the noise that can sometimes be a distraction.

The Slack call quality can sometimes be unreliable and audio quality isn't amazing.

Slack’s goal in life imo is to bring all communication channels into one place. I used Slack when getting my Master’s degree in Applied Data Science online. Getting a Master’s degree online, although now very common, was still very daunting. I quickly found Slack to put my concerns of remote learning at ease. Thanks to some diligence on the university’s side, they set up Slack to very seamlessly structure and manage all conversations by making devoted channels for each course as well as more general use channels like “Admissions” and “Office Hours”. Slack’s UI is very easy to understand, and it keeps the natural chaos that emerges from lots of conversations and sub-conversations at bay.

One disadvantage of Slack is its pricing. While Slack does offer a free plan, it is limited in terms of message history, storage, and integrations. If you want to unlock more features and functionality, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan, which can be quite expensive. In comparison, some competing tools, such as Microsoft Teams, offer more affordable pricing options. While Slack is an excellent tool for team communication and collaboration, it does have some limitations when it comes to project management. Although Slack does offer some project management features, such as the ability to create to-do lists and assign tasks, it is not as robust as dedicated project management tools such as Asana or Trello.

Slack can be considered as a project management tool. Slack provides both mobile version and desktop version applications where the mobile version is installed in the mobile phone so that whatever may be the situation user may not miss any important information about the project instantly. While the desktop version helps to transfer files of the working project easily while working on the project. Slack provides the facility to share the files, folders, audio and video clips, links. there are private and public channels in slack. Users can be added to these channels and if the users prefer they can have their own personal chats through slack. The emojis, stickers, GIF are also added In Slack to provide better user experience and attract the users with its familiar look to most of the social media or texting apps.

In order to use Slack users need to have a proper network connection. Without proper network coverage, Slack won’t work. Sometimes messages won’t be delivered to the other side after a selected time(10 PM). Unless the user sets his or her state into active user won’t receive notifications after 10 pm. If the state is away then the messages sent after 10 pm won’t be delivered till the next morning. Because of this sometimes users may miss some important messages. It is both an advantage and a disadvantage too. There is no mechanism to know whether the receiver read the message or not once a message is sent. The sender has to wait until other messages come from the receiver acknowledging that the receiver read the message.

The tool can be integrated with several other tolls such as dropbox, shared drives and other platforms

The tool can be made more customisable and more cheaper, otherwise a great product to use.

Slack call is the feature which I like the most about slack. We don't need to schedule it like in google meetings we have send an invite. Here if we want to connect with people who are online that particular time we can just connect with then. It's a time saver.

The calls with multiple attendees is very difficult to start and also we can't hide our background. Sometimes while working from home we don't want to show our house so that feature can be improved. Also there is no way to record the slack calls.

One of the things I like least about the platform is the potential for information overload. With so many channels and conversations happening at once, it can be challenging to keep up and stay organized. However, utilizing Slack's customization and notification features can help alleviate this issue.

As long as you've used tools like MSN, AIM, or Facebook Messenger before, you'll be able to pick up Slack in minutes. That makes it a super valuable tool, since deployment is so easy.Creating channels to manage the communications of multiple teams across different topics and projects is incredibly valuable — it keeps communication from getting too messy.Slack integrates seamlessly with a ton of super valuable apps, including Asana, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.

One of the unfortunate drawbacks of Slack is it's created an entirely new problem in replacing email; too many notifications. I personally keep Slack off of my phone, since I know other folks have trouble dealing with so many notifications. This might be less an issue with the tool itself, but rather with the tool category. Be mindful that you'll need processes around this stuff if you use Slack or one of its alternatives.

What I like most about Slack is that you can create channels so different teams can collaborate and keep communication about a topic or report issues and everyone can be informed instantly. You can also create a huddle to meet immediately for quick discussions. I also like that you can add reactions to messages, it's a fun way to communicate. Overall it's a very friendly and useful application.

Sometimes the mobile app shows that you still have unread messages from a channel when you already read all of them. Huddle can be improved.

In daily work, it has proven crucial for coordination and communication. We have used it on a number of projects, and it has aided with file sharing, task tracking, and constant communication regarding project status. We can share pictures, gifs, and remarks about the news or current events, which keeps us informed and enhances our working atmosphere.

Important communications may get lost in a sea of chats due to the sheer volume of notifications and messages users receive. Except that, I have no issues. It is neat, simple, and appealing to the eye.

Slack's usability and comprehension are crucial. Teams in the office, in my opinion, seek to do too much, whereas Slack just ensures that talks are open, clear, and current. To keep team interactions organized, the ability to flip between private messages, public channels, and closed channels is quite important. Slack is used for all internal communication, while email is used for all external interactions, and it works well.

What I dislike about Slack is that it may be overwhelming because of the large amount of notifications, messages, and discussions that can occur on the site. It may be tough to keep up with all of the notifications and discussions, making vital information easy to overlook.

Slack is a MUST for remote workers. The ease of setup makes it fantastic. The ease of use makes it phenomenal. The ability to collaborate and work together, to chat and have water cooler talk when your team all work in separate locations, is priceless.

One thing that I appreciate: slack allows you to customize your away times and notification snoozes. It's a really pleasant experience, and its notifications are similarly "unfrustrating." There's nothing quite like being interrupted by an annoying noise or a badge popping up somewhere in your periphery when you're focusing on something difficult, only to be totally distracted. I also appreciate that you can bypass snooze settings for those moments where urgency is actually necessary (hint: it never is ;) ).

Next: I appreciate that slack doesn't make sharing documents needlessly complicated - why add extra bells and whistles you don't want or need? It's easy, collaborative communication and document sharing for people who want it.

The best part: slack keeps me in touch with my colleagues. I know that sounds stupid, since it is a COMMUNICATION TOOL, but it really does. It keeps our lines of communication open, obviously, for discussing work projects and tasks, planning and checking in, etc. Above that, though, using slack also means we work on building our interpersonal relationships, meaning we become better at communicating with one another over time. I really appreciate that. Thank you, slack!

Honestly, I cannot think of anything I dislike about slack. I guess if I had to grouse about something, it would be that the "generic" icons (when you don't upload your own photo) have changed a few times, and I liked the original ones best.

Can I just add that if that is my only complaint, they must be on to something?

It is extremely easy to use, there are many bots and tools to customize your workspace, and the actual communication tools are superior to the ones offered by Google and Microsoft. For example, the ability to thread conversations, easily set reminders about messages, and other subtle things add up to a much better communication system.

I have experienced no major negatives as a user of the product. Depending on the number of users in your organization, the monthly cost will start to add up but I think this is similar to their competitors unless you're already paying them for other services that include something like Microsoft Teams, for example.
