O Google Sheets é uma plataforma de planilhas baseada na nuvem, desenvolvida para ajudar empresas de todos os tamanhos a colaborar com clientes e parceiros para criar e editar dados em planilhas. O Google Sheets oferece o módulo de prevenção de perda de dados (DLP, na sigla em inglês), que permite às empresas detectar possíveis violações de dados e evitar vazamentos de dados, bloqueando a visibilidade de dados confidenciais entre membros não autorizados.
O Google Sheets fornece uma API e integração com o Zapier, o que permite que as empresas se conectem a várias plataformas de terceiros, como BigQuery, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Apps Script, Trello, Slack, Mailchimp e muito mais. Overall, Google sheets is our offices' preferred data processing and visualization platform. We use it daily and are thrilled with its performance overall.
Vantagens
I love that google sheets is tied into the google business suite. This gives us the ability to quickly/easily cross-communicate between tools.
Desvantagens
I grew up on Excel, and while much of the functionality is the same, there is a learning curve if you are cutting over to Sheets.

I was using it for dealing with HW change in the industry where Iyqs yorking yhen I needed to deal with multiple teams, it was not easy to set up but worked well after it. It was sometimes slow and even more when I was trying to add dynamic cross tables. At least everyone could work on it at the same time with the possibility to see very easily and quickly what is being done by who and with notification of the added lines/features by your team.
Vantagens
It is a lot more easier at first to use this if our company is under google emails and so for the teamwork and data sharing. Furthermore you can easily restric areas and it is quickly handled.
Desvantagens
We all know excel and this is not exactly the same names/functions, it is so making it harder and takes more time to do the same things as in excel. We have to compare it, this is a bit mandatory. FUrthermore, when you have a bad connection, it becomes much more slower and almost impossible to deal with it.

Google sheets is very useful in the office I work in. We use it for multiple purposes, including a calendar with upcoming jobs we have scheduled and to show vacation days we have planned.
It is useful for us to track jobs that are in, who is working on them, and what the status is. It helps keep our office organized and saves us a lot of time by not having to go around and ask where a job is at.
Vantagens
Easy to use, can access from anywhere (desktop or mobile!), good for documents that need to be edited by multiple people
Desvantagens
Not as many features as some other spreadsheet software, not as easy to use some features that are available

Vantagens
I can manage all of the data I need fo research, I can easily use the templates readily available for things such as schedules and expense list.
Desvantagens
I am hoping for more templates that I can use especially when it comes to inventory since I am using it for my business.
