Sobre o DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Resolve é um software de edição de vídeo que ajuda editores, coloristas e artistas de efeitos visuais (VFX) a colaborar em processos de pós-produção, como edição em 8K, inserção de efeitos visuais, correção de cores e edição de áudio para filmes, programas de TV e comerciais. A ferramenta de fita original permite revisar, selecionar e adicionar fotos de vários clipes em uma única fita.
DaVinci Resolve inclui ferramentas integradas que permitem aos funcionários gerenciar processos relacionados a efeitos picture-in-picture, alterar o tempo de clipes, estabilização e zoom dinâmico. Com o módulo de reconhecimento facial, é possível detectar automaticamente rostos em clipes e criar caixas ou pastas com base em indivíduos específicos. Os editores de vídeo podem copiar e colar atributos, como tons de cores, janelas, plug-ins e efeitos de rastreamento em vários nós. Ele também permite que os designers organizem tons usando classificação de galeria, hover scrubbing (deslocamento com o cursor), limpeza de referência de correspondência e ferramentas de limpeza de linha do tempo.
DaVinci permite a colaboração remota, o acesso a comentários e a sincronização de anotações por meio da integração de terceiros com o Frame.io. Também permite que os supervisores renderizem, exportem e compartilhem gravações de vídeo criadas em plataformas externas, como YouTube e Vimeo.

Vantagens
DaVinci Resolve has been an invaluable asset in my part-time gig as a YouTube tutorial video creator. Whether I'm editing, color correcting, working on audio post-production, or creating stunning visual effects, DaVinci Resolve has my back. Even when handling high-resolution and complex video projects, it consistently delivers exceptional performance. The fact that a free version with robust features is available is a massive bonus for someone like me on a budget. Moreover, DaVinci Resolve supports collaborative work, allowing me to work effectively with my team and fellow creators. Its extensive library of tutorials and a thriving user community have been invaluable resources for my learning journey.
Desvantagens
While DaVinci Resolve is a powerful tool, it can be resource-intensive, requiring a high-performance computer to fully leverage its capabilities. The learning curve can be quite steep, especially for newcomers like me, who are just starting their professional video editing journey. I've encountered occasional stability issues and crashes, but the software's regular updates have been addressing these concerns. It's worth noting that some advanced features are exclusively available in the paid Studio version, which may necessitate an upgrade for specific functionalities.

Full featured software that is free

Vantagens
The fact that it is free but functions like most professional software is great. Lots of Youtube videos out there to allow for easy learning.
Desvantagens
Not too much. On the odd occasion you may encounter certain bugs that come up, but nothing that a good reset of the software would fix. Plus software updates usually fix it.

Vantagens
I have found nothing that I like about DaVinci Resolve. I can't figure out how to use it. It is very difficult to even attempt to do things with this program that I can easily achieve on Clipify. DaVinci sucks. May be great for pro's, but a layman...no chance.
Desvantagens
EVERYTHING! Each thing I attempted to do ending in catastrophic failure. I lost videos. I mangled videos. Why is this so much more difficult that Clipify? I can upload, add too, edit, clip, finish and post a video in a couple of hours.

A pro video editor that have a free version that can cover most individuals' needs without the need to buy the paid version.
There are a lot of functions available in the free version and it doesn't feel like a big demo, it really looks like they just made the basic functions available for someone who just want to edit some videos with his family and the more advanced features that doesn't concern everyone, are reserved for the paid version.
The app is fast and responsive even in low end hardware for 1080p that I use, I do believe there are a couple of things in the UI/UX that feel weird but seems like "this is how the pro video people are used to" so yeah I don't know how to feel about it. I mean if the people who pay you require the UI to be that weird, who am I to say "make it simple for me" eh?
All in all there are a lot of tutorials that can help you get the results you want and the one off license system is a blessing those days. I hate subscription models and the cost for the paid version is not going to bankrupt you.
Vantagens
Even on the free version it is a very powerful video editor, and the paid version is not asking anything extraordinary. Also no Subscription is always a plus.
Desvantagens
Learning curve is a bit step, at least there are a lot of tutorials out there to teach you what you need.

Resolve is free, with very few limitations. Sink that in: you can get a very-modern, timely-updated, fully featured video workstation for free. Pros don't often use free software, mostly because it lacks support: BMD is definitely the counter to these with Resolve. The paid-version allows for greater resolutions and more customization.
Vantagens
We've come a long way since the early Resolve versions. So many tools added release after release (and they also come often), it is now a full fledged one-stop video solution. Node canvas is very easy to work with. Clip management is intuitive and fast. BMD's vision is clear: they create the best editor they can to work with their own hardware, but unlike others they make it as easy to work with BMD-camera captured footage than it is with other formats. All this for a very, very cheap price and the option to actually own the software rather than renting (wink wink Adobe?)
Desvantagens
Resolve is a professional video workstation, and like every software of this caliber the learning curve can be a bit steep for newcomers; it takes time and practice to really master it. You want pro results? You better get studying!
