Sometimes, there are also unskippable ads. It keeps suggesting the same type of videos again and again. > > YouTube is an all-in-one platform where you can find both learning and entertainment. It provides creators with opportunities for growth and earning. ----- ### "Strong Discovery Platform with High Competition and Algorithm Dependence" — 5.0/5 > **Michael** | *23 de abril de 2026* | Música | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10 > > **Vantagens**: YouTube stands out for its massive content library and accessibility, offering videos on virtually any topic at any time. Its recommendation system is strong, helping users quickly discover relevant and engaging content. The platform also supports a wide range of creators and formats, from short clips to long-form educational and entertainment content, making it highly versatile for different user needs. > > **Desvantagens**: YouTube can feel overly driven by its recommendation algorithm, which sometimes pushes repetitive or low-quality content instead of what users are actively searching for. Ads are also frequent on the free tier, which can interrupt the viewing experience. In addition, content moderation and consistency can be uneven, leading to variability in quality and reliability across videos. > > YouTube is a key platform for a music and content creation business because it provides strong organic reach for educational and performance-based content. It’s especially effective for building awareness through singing tutorials, vocal demos, and short-form clips that can attract new students through search and recommendations. The platform also supports longer-form content, which helps establish authority and deeper connection with an audience over time. The main drawbacks are the inconsistency of algorithm-driven reach, which can make growth less predictable, and the heavy ad experience for viewers on the free version, which can interrupt engagement. It’s also a highly competitive space, so content needs to be consistently strong and well-packaged to stand out. ----- ### "False allegations, won't let you adequately defend yourself." — 1.0/5 > **Karan** | *10 de abril de 2025* | Serviços jurídicos | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Vantagens**: They offer a premium service so you don't have to watch ads > > **Desvantagens**: They delete your account and make accusations against you but won't give you evidence of your supposed crimes. > > I got a notification saying my accoun t was permanently cancelled. I appealed and 15 minutes later thay came back saying they have looked at my account "carefully" and they found it breaches their policy. I know for a fact that I did not commit the offence they accused me of and there is no way to appeal the denial of the appeal. Even in a court of law, you are told what you are accused of and provided the evidence and allowed to defend yourself. YouTube are a lw unto themselves. They took my money for premium membership, cancelled my account and instead of doing the right thing and refunding my money, I had to request it from them. ----- ### "Easy to use with unmatched reach" — 5.0/5 > **Parsa** | *29 de junho de 2026* | Serviços e tecnologia da informação | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Vantagens**: What I like most is the reach and ease of use. Uploading, hosting, and sharing video is simple, playback quality is generally strong, and the platform makes it easy to get content in front of a very large audience. > > **Desvantagens**: What I like least is the ad experience and some of the clutter around the platform. At times, ads can feel excessive, and it can be harder than it should be to keep the viewing experience clean and focused. ----- ### "YouTube - World's Largest Free Online Video Sharing" — 5.0/5 > **Nathaniel** | *19 de março de 2026* | Automotivo | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Vantagens**: What I like most about YouTube is quite simple. There is so much content housed on YouTube that just about any topic you can think of has tons of content related to it uploaded on YouTube. I like tackling projects myself whenever possible, so I especially like using YouTube for how-to videos. > > **Desvantagens**: Having been a YouTube viewer since it's inception, there are two main cons that I can think of. First is the increase in advertisements over the years. I understand why they need to be there to continue to allow YouTube to be free for users, but it can still get a little annoying. Second is the fact that for many years, audio would pause on a mobile device when you left your YouTube screen or your screen went to sleep. Now, I understand you can pay for a premium account to eliminate this issue. But to me, I think that should be a free feature. > > YouTube is a video sharing platform that hosts everything from music videos and educational content to vlogs, product reviews, and live event coverage. YouTube creators can build channels, monetize their content, and reach global audiences without traditional media gatekeepers. For viewers, YouTube functions as both a search engine and an entertainment hub where content on just about any topic imaginable is available with just a few clicks. ----- Page: 1 / 39\ Seguinte: [Next page](https://www.getapp.pt/software/2052214/youtube?page=2) ## Links - [View on GetApp](https://www.getapp.pt/software/2052214/youtube) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
