Creating courses is a simple process, and starts by uploading existing content such as PowerPoint presentations, training videos, Word documents or any other file type. Then, the testing platform allows users to create quizzes and tests with various question formats. Course building is as easy as picking-and-choosing from your repository of content and tests.
After inviting users to the platform, there are plenty of tools for managing, and tracking the activity, and performance of all your users. With real-time performance summaries, and analytic reports, you will always be informed of all the activity on your platform.
We also offer plenty of customization options to personalize your training platform. From custom domain names, theme, and logo, you can make your users feel like they are doing their training directly from your own website.

SkyPrep has a number of features that has made my job as the one person learning team easier. I love the dashboard that my participants see and how simple/user friendly it is for them. The ease to add courses, materials and create learning paths has been a wonder. The ability to create our own custom email templates, landing page and branding has made the LMS our own rather than appearing to be from a third party. Finally, it's awesome that my learners can access the LMS via their phone, laptop or desktop. It is helping us create a true learning culture here at our companyl.
Desvantagens
I would like the reporting to be a bit more robust and friendly. I can get what I need, but I need to do some work for it. The only other thing I would like is when I'm needing to check on a learner's progress and pop into their account, when I go to switch back to my admin account, it doesn't bring me back to the screen I was working on before I logged into the user. Both things are small, and easily worked around.

Pricing is economical and transparent. No mandatory phone conference/interview just to find out what it costs. Efficient sales process. Before my first phone call with the sales rep, they provided me links to YouTube videos detailing their capabilities, which greatly minimized the time required with the sales team to understand exactly what they offer. They were the only LMS I researched that did this and didn't hide their costs until the end. Extremely user friendly platform to administer and use that includes built-in course authoring tools. Meets all of our needs to provide internally developed online course ware in several formats. A course catalog and means for purchasing course ware from external content vendors is also integrated into the LMS. The staff are very responsive, outstanding to work with and very helpful when needed. They are also proactive and have solicited feedback about what next upgrades to their platform we would most like to see. If/when they get to some of those I'll easily give them full marks for functionality and features.
Desvantagens
Customer service and communication is primarily via email, therefore, clarifying the exact nature and extent of a problem sometimes requires some back and forth.
I am a corporate trainer for a dental management company, training over 100 employees each day. It is very important to us that we are able to apply systematic and consistent information to all 7 of our dental offices. SkyPrep has allowed us to do so, and has made it a very simple process. It's easy to set up, easy to make changes, and easy to track our employees' progress. It's also very user-friendly for the staff completing their training courses. We love it!

I wish there was a feature to replace videos in the Resource Center. Often times our videos require updating, and it would be wonderful if we could easily replace a video, like we do with a document, without having to delete it, upload a new one, and add it back into all appropriate courses.
We are a midsize municipal government agency and purchased SkyPrep for our LMS about a year ago. As the administrator for the LMS, I have been thoroughly impressed. The system has a very intuitive and user-friendly UI, our users require very little training to use it. They open it up and say, "oh, ok, I see my training pending my completion here. Seems easy enough." And that's it. Also from an admin side, its easy to use - I've trained several non-technical users on the admin role and I get similar feedback on ease of use. We also have a few 'group managers' who have security rights somewhere between admins and users.
It's inexpensive, which is perfect for us with a limited budget. Several departments have created their own content in Powerpoint or videos, and we've launched it to users, and the group manager monitors completion. We partnered with external content providers as well, - that's where the big money seems to go, so its been more cost effective to develop our own, which is easy to do with their content creator tool. But SkyPrep accepts content in so many different formats, that we've been able to leverage various webinar recordings, Youtube videos, even DVD content and internally-developed policies in Word and PDF.
Reporting is pretty simple - my only complaint is that the reporting options are somewhat limited. However, I sent an email to the service team making a request for an additional filter option, and - wham! They added it to my account. I was very impressed that they listened to my feedback and were so accommodating. That additional report has made my job much easier.
Another thing I've been thoroughly impressed with is their frequent releases and enhancements. It always seems like they're adding some new cool feature that again makes my job easier - seems like the frequency is somewhere between monthly and quarterly.
I still email my original contact on occasion with a question or comment, and he always gets back to me within a day.
Really, really pleased with SkyPrep.
We started using SkyPrep a few years ago, solely for training our sales team. We saw great success with the platform and decided to expand our user base to include company-wide training initiatives. Our expansion took very little time and we have been able to accomplish numerous company-wide training goals in a fraction of the time that we expected.

SkyPrep is user-friendly and has required little training for our field employees to use it. Creating and editing training modules is quick, easy, and requires little technical knowledge, which has helped me in my position immensely.

Students and employees are then invited to participate in educational training sessions that take place entirely on the web.
Organizations that use SkyPrep benefit by being able to upload their course materials into a centralized environment, where they can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere in the world. Employees who telecommute are able to complete required compliance and safety training courses without stepping foot inside their home offices, while larger franchise organizations are able ensure that all employees have received a uniform education about their companies’ policies and procedures, regardless of their locations.
Educators and employers can upload any existing course content they’ve created directly into SkyPrep. SkyPrep accepts files including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SCORM content. Once the content has been uploaded, it can be dragged-and-dropped into any of a user’s courses.
To add new content to your courses, click on the appropriate course name and then click the “Items” tab. Choose “Add New Material,” and then select from a list of supported materials. Included on this list are many different files types, including PDF, Word, Excel, and HTML files, along with YouTube and Vimeo links. You can also create a link or embed a website.
Using the Exam Manager tool, users can create quizzes and tests for their students. Any test that a user creates can be dragged-and-dropped into a course. Users have multiple formats to choose from when designing their quizzes. Quizzes can be auto-graded.
When you create a new exam, you’re able to determine things like time limits and percentages that are required to pass the exam. You can also categorize your exam, and select how many times a learner can take the exam per course. Next, you’ll want to add each of your questions, choosing between multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, or short answer.
SkyPrep’s messaging and notification platform allows instructors to remind learners about upcoming courses and due dates. Depending on the settings an instructor has selected, learners can be sent automated email reminders whenever new content is available.
Compose a message to your learners from within SkyPrep’s platform. You can select which individual learners should receive your message, or you can elect to send a message to a certain group or everyone enrolled in a specific course. As a trainer, you also have the option to receive messages from learners in your SkyPrep inbox.
SkyPrep provides its instructors with the ability to download real-time reports about all of their learners. SkyPrep provides a wide variety of reporting options, all designed to outline users’ performance and analytics. The three main types of reports are user reports, group reports, and course reports.
Get access to a summary of all your courses by clicking on the “Data” tab along the top of the SkyPrep platform. Choose which type of report you’d like to build—courses, users, groups, or exams—and download the report. You have the option to download reports as CSV/Excel files or in Zoho Viewer.
Many students will pay to learn about topics in an online setting. SkyPrep provides educators with ways to sell their online courses to anyone, anywhere. In fact, learners can even switch the platform to access courses in their native languages. Instructors receive immediate payments whenever a user enrolls through the platform.
In order to sell courses, you’ll need to turn on SkyPrep’s “sell mode” feature. Click on the “Customization” tab from the homepage to begin this process, and then select “Settings.” When you check the box next to “I’d like to sell courses,” you’ll be able to start monetizing your courses to sell to students online.
SkyPrep offers an API to all users.
SkyPrep charges based on the number of active users on the platform each month. A user can login to the system and take as many courses as he or she wants, and it will count as one active user for that month. If the user doesn’t login at all during the following month, then he or she will not count as an active user during that month. Pricing plans start at $449 per month for a Standard account, and go up to $599+ per month for users who select the Enterprise option.
