Lots of training and tutorials provided - "Set it and forget it" .. well not exactly .. you still have to monitor and reconcile monthly to ensure everything is running smoothly. But saves a lot of time logging in and figuring out how to file taxes monthly for each state. - Reporting is very transparent. Easy to download reports, and compile and save info for auditing purposes. > > **Desvantagens**: - Use Tax functionality is not fully automated for all software. We use NetSuite, and there's no way to capture Use Tax on Expense Reports so these must still be entered into Avalara manually. - Customer Support is sometimes lacking. It takes forever to get a hold of someone on the phone, and when you do, many of the times the case just gets escalated to someone else so no immediate help. There are alot of reports that do about the same thing just maybe a little tweek so sometimes trying to find the right one is hard. > > Overall, it have been good. There isn't any other software that does what they do as good as them. The TTRUS is the best and an amazing resource. Costly, painful onboarding, unnecessary state registrations, software incompatibilities, and zero accountability. Their team admitted to unresponsiveness and miscommunication, but refused any resolution. We’ve moved on, but still deal with state notices from our time with them. Working with Avalara added to my stress and workload. Every implementation I have done with Avalara has required myself or my company, accountants, engineers to do 85% of the work to implement, test, and go live. This has been a problem for years across numerous products we use today. Please start addressing this. > > The product is great, the reporting tool with data results are logical.
