The basic functions are intuitive and a new user can navigate the program without much instruction. As a user becomes more advanced, MyCase offers training and tutorials, and has a plethora of add-ons available, allowing a user to really customize the program to their needs. For me, the most valued features are the ability to accept online payments, the communication and notes features, the time tracking and billing features, and the leads tracking. > > **Desvantagens**: The email integration is not seamless. I wish that there was a way for emails send to/from a connected email to automatically synch with any client who has a matching registered email address. Additionally, my rate has consistently gone up; I don't use a lot of the add-on features that are the justification for the price increases. > > I rave about MyCase anytime a colleague asks my opinion. Connecting emails, portal conversations, texts, etc so everyone can see the progress on a matter is so important. Also integrationality with other software apps is critical and it does this well. > > **Desvantagens**: Leads kanban is pretty much useless because it doesn't connect to email, so there's essentially no functionality to it. > > It's not perfect, but it's way better than Clio and Practice Panther based on my usage. Customer service is pretty responsive. Rollouts are not always smooth, unfortunately, but they do seem to be doing updates from time to time. They require accounting “onboarding” which is two steps, not the one step they promise, and each appointment takes a week to schedule (they only do those on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to their calendar system). I've just started using the integrated billing software and it's pretty easy. Plus, Mycase doesn't judge me as I cry over my keyboard at 3am because there's a work emergency. > > **Desvantagens**: I don't think the billing software sends out un-ignorable reminders to clients to pay. However it's easy enough to set up reminders in the system so I can remind clients. > > I started using Mycase early in my solo career, it has been very helpful and intuitive.
